Implementation Plan
A structured one-year pathway organised into six progressive phases, enabling schools to implement AI-empowered education in alignment with the Education Bureau (EDB) "AI for Empowering Learning and Teaching Funding Programme". The plan strategically supports teacher capacity building, classroom innovation, and the development of future-ready AI literacy among students.
Phase 1
Strategic Planning & Teacher Development
Key Activities:

Leadership planning meeting with school leaders

Preparatory consultation meetings with subject panel heads

AI pedagogy workshop with all staff

Teacher AI prompting guide and teaching toolkit

Phase 2
Teaching Resource Development
Key Activities:

Collaborative lesson planning meetings with panel heads and teachers for 3 subjects

Joint design of AI-assisted learning activities covering 2 forms per subject

Email/online feedback provided on draft lesson materials
Deliverables:

AI-supported lesson templates and teaching materials for 3 subjects

6 AI-supported teaching examples/resource packages
EDB alignment:
✔ Implement AI-assisted teaching in at least 3 subjects
✔ Cover at least 2 levels in each subject
✔ Develop at least 6 AI-supported teaching examples or resources
Phase 3
Classroom Implementation
Key Activities:

Implementation of co-designed AI-assisted lessons in selected classes

Classroom implementation guidance and consultation support

Collection of brief teacher feedback on AI-assisted lesson implementation

Co-designed AI lesson plans implemented in classrooms

Refined suggestions for improving AI-assisted teaching practices
EDB alignment:
✔ Support the development and refinement of AI-assisted teaching practices required under the programme
Phase 4
Demonstration Lessons/Open Classes
Key Activities:

Preparation support for 3 open classes/demonstration lessons across 3 participating subjects

Demonstration lesson planning guidance and teaching resource support for participating teachers
Deliverables:

Demonstration lesson plans and observation guides

Open class observation records

AI-enhanced teaching case examples
EDB alignment:
✔ Conduct at least 3 open classes/classroom demonstrations across at least 3 subjects/curriculum areas
Phase 5
Professional Sharing & Dissemination
Key Activities:

Facilitation of 3 experience-sharing sessions within the school

Guidance for participating teachers in preparing sharing materials
Deliverables:

Teacher sharing presentation materials with impact reports

Case documentation templates

School AI teaching showcase resources

✔ Organise at least 3 experience-sharing sessions on AI-assisted teaching
Phase 6
Student AI Literacy Activities
Key Activities:

Design and facilitation support for 2 student AI literacy workshops or activities

Guidance for teachers and students on responsible AI use in learning
